Truth Hurts is an American R&B singer born October 10, 1971, in St. Louis, Missouri. She first gained widespread recognition in 2002 with her debut single "Addictive," which featured Rakim and became a top-10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Her debut album, Truthfully Speaking, was released the same year on Aftermath Entertainment and Dr. Dre’s label imprint. She has continued to release music independently and maintains an official website at officiallytruth.com.
