Bio
Connie Francis is an American singer and actress who rose to fame in the late 1950s and early 1960s. She became one of the most popular female vocalists of the era, known for her clear, emotive voice and a string of chart-topping singles that blended pop, rock and roll, and traditional vocal styles. Born in Newark, New Jersey, in 1937, Francis recorded in multiple languages and achieved international success with hits such as "Who's Sorry Now?" and "Where the Boys Are." Her work helped bridge the gap between the big-band era and the emerging youth-oriented pop market, and she remains one of the best-selling female artists of all time.
