Bio
David Gilmour is an English guitarist, singer, and songwriter best known as a member of the rock band Pink Floyd. Born in Cambridge in 1946, he joined the group in 1967 and became a central creative force alongside Roger Waters, contributing to landmark albums such as The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall. Gilmour is widely recognized for his distinctive guitar tone, melodic solos, and understated vocal style. In addition to his work with Pink Floyd, he has released several solo albums and continues to perform and record as a solo artist.
