Bio
Marianne Crebassa is a French mezzo-soprano born in Béziers in 1986. She studied at the Conservatoire de Toulouse and the Paris Conservatory, where she won first prizes in both singing and baroque music. Crebassa made her professional debut at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence in 2011 as the title role in Cavalli's 'Elena' and has since appeared at major opera houses including the Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, and Opéra national de Paris. Known for her performances in works by Mozart, Handel, and French composers, she has established herself as one of the leading mezzo-sopranos of her generation.
