Madvillain is the collaborative project of rapper MF DOOM and producer Madlib. Their 2004 debut album Madvillainy is widely regarded as a landmark in alternative and experimental hip hop, known for its dense wordplay, unconventional sampling, and lo-fi production. The duo released only one studio album together, but it remains highly influential in underground rap circles.
