MC Joãozinho VT is a Brazilian funk artist from Rio de Janeiro. He rose to prominence in the mid-2010s within the Rio funk carioca scene, releasing viral tracks that blend heavy 150–160 BPM beats with explicit, party-oriented lyrics. His breakout single “Vou Catucar Seu Pinto” became a regional hit on YouTube and streaming platforms, establishing him as a recognizable name in Brazilian funk. Subsequent releases such as “Senta no Meu Pau” and collaborations with other Rio MCs expanded his catalog on Spotify and Tidal. Joãozinho VT continues to perform at bailes funk and release new material through independent channels.
