He first gained attention after winning the 2012 Open Mic UK competition, which led to a recording contract and the release of his debut EP, The Monologue, in 2013. Banks is known for his powerful, emotive voice and introspective songwriting that blends soul, R&B, and alternative influences. His work has been featured in major television shows and films, and he has collaborated with artists such as Eminem and toured extensively across Europe and North America.
