Bio

Gabriel Diniz (1990–2019) was a Brazilian singer from Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, who rose to prominence in the Northeast with a style that blended arrocha, forró, sertanejo, and sertanejo universitário. He first gained national attention in 2016 with the hit “Jeito Diferente,” followed by the 2018 success “Meu Medo,” which topped charts across Brazil. Diniz released three studio albums and maintained an active touring schedule until his death in a plane crash on 30 May 2019 at age 28.
