Superheaven is an American alternative rock band formed in Doylestown, Pennsylvania in 2008. Originally known as Daylight, the group gained attention in the early 2010s with their blend of grunge, shoegaze, and post-hardcore influences. The band released several EPs and their debut full-length album, "Jar," in 2013, which helped establish their reputation in the underground rock scene. Their sound is characterized by heavy, melodic guitar work and introspective lyrics. After a period of inactivity, the band resurfaced under the name Superheaven and continued to release music that maintained their signature atmospheric and emotionally charged style.
