Drowning Pool is an American alternative metal band formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1996. The group rose to prominence in the early 2000s with their debut album Sinner, which featured the hit single "Bodies" and established their aggressive, riff-driven sound. Over the years, the band has experienced several lineup changes, particularly in the vocalist position, but has maintained a consistent presence in the metal scene with subsequent releases and extensive touring.
