Bio
She & Him is an American indie pop duo formed in 2006 by actress and singer-songwriter Zooey Deschanel and guitarist and producer M. Ward. The pair is known for their vintage-inspired sound that blends 1960s pop, country, and folk elements with Deschanel’s distinctive vocals and Ward’s understated guitar work. Their debut album, Volume One, established their retro aesthetic, and subsequent releases such as Volume Two and A Very She & Him Christmas further showcased their harmonious, nostalgic style.
