Bio
Johnny Gill (born May 22, 1966) is an American R&B singer from Washington, D.C. He first rose to prominence as a teenager with the group New Edition before launching a solo career that blended new jack swing and quiet storm styles. Gill achieved his greatest commercial success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with hits such as "My, My, My" and "Rub You the Right Way." He has also recorded several duets with artists including Stacy Lattisaw and Roger Troutman.
