Bio
Thomas Dolby (born Thomas Morgan Robertson, 14 October 1958) is an English musician, producer and inventor best known for his 1982 synth-pop hit "She Blinded Me with Science." Emerging from the new-wave scene, he released a string of albums that combined quirky lyrics with cutting-edge synthesizer technology. Beyond performing, Dolby has worked as a producer for artists such as Prefab Sprout and Joni Mitchell, and he founded the tech company Headspace before returning to music in the 2000s. His later work often explores themes of science, technology and personal reflection, maintaining a cult following among fans of innovative electronic pop.
