ABC is an English new wave and synthpop band formed in Sheffield in 1980. The group rose to prominence in the early 1980s with their distinctive blend of sophisticated pop, electronic production, and stylish presentation. Fronted by singer Martin Fry, ABC achieved international success with hits such as "Poison Arrow" and "The Look of Love," establishing themselves as key figures in the second British Invasion of the US charts. Their debut album The Lexicon of Love remains a landmark of 1980s pop music.
