Yotuel Omar Manzanarez Romero, born October 6, 1976 in Havana, Cuba, is a Cuban singer, songwriter, and actor best known as a founding member of the pioneering hip-hop group Orishas. After relocating to Paris in the late 1990s, he helped fuse traditional Cuban sounds with contemporary rap, contributing to the group’s international breakthrough albums such as A Lo Cubano (1999) and Emigrante (2002). Beyond Orishas, Yotuel has pursued solo projects that blend flamenco, reggaeton, and urban Latin styles, while also appearing in films and television.
