Bio

Paul Simonon is an English musician and visual artist best known as the bassist for the punk rock band The Clash. Born in Croydon, United Kingdom, in 1955, he joined the group in 1976 and contributed to their influential albums including London Calling and Sandinista! After The Clash disbanded, Simonon formed the band Havana 3am and later collaborated with Damon Albarn in The Good, the Bad & the Queen. In addition to his music career, he is also recognized for his work as a painter.
