Bio

Yiruma is a South Korean pianist and composer born in Seoul in 1978. He is known for his neoclassical piano compositions that blend classical technique with contemporary sensibilities. His music gained international recognition through pieces such as "River Flows in You," which has become one of his most recognized works. Yiruma studied at the Purcell School of Music in London and King's College London before returning to South Korea to pursue his career. Throughout his career, Yiruma has released numerous albums featuring his distinctive piano style, establishing himself as one of the prominent figures in contemporary piano music.
