Bio

Yannick Nézet-Séguin is a Canadian conductor and pianist born in Montreal. He is music director of the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Metropolitan Opera, and was previously music director of the Rotterdam Philharmonic. His recordings span symphonic repertoire from Mozart and Beethoven to contemporary works, with notable projects including complete cycles of Bruckner and Schumann symphonies. He frequently collaborates with major orchestras and soloists worldwide and is known for energetic, detailed interpretations across Romantic and modern repertoire.
