Craig David is an English singer, songwriter, and producer born on 5 May 1981 in Southampton. He first rose to prominence in the late 1990s as a featured artist on the UK garage single "Re-Rewind" by Artful Dodger before launching a solo career with his debut album Born to Do It (2000). The album produced international hits such as "Fill Me In" and "7 Days," establishing him as a leading figure in British R&B and pop. Over the following two decades David has released seven studio albums, collaborated with artists across pop, dance, and hip-hop, and maintained a presence on the UK charts.
