Bio
Queen is a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon. The group rose to international fame in the mid-1970s with a sound that blended hard rock, glam, progressive and pop elements, highlighted by Mercury’s theatrical vocals and May’s distinctive guitar tone. Their 1975 album A Night at the Opera and its single “Bohemian Rhapsody” became cultural landmarks, while later hits such as “We Will Rock You,” “Another One Bites the Dust” and “Radio Ga Ga” cemented their stadium-rock status. Queen’s catalogue spans more than fifteen studio albums and includes the 1986 Wembley Stadium concert captured on Live at Wembley. The band has sold over 300 million records worldwide and continues to perform with Adam Lambert as lead vocalist.
