Hurts

Hurts is an English synth-pop duo formed in Manchester in 2009 by singer Theo Hutchcraft and multi-instrumentalist Adam Anderson. They gained attention with their 2010 debut album Happiness, which reached number 4 on the UK Albums Chart and spawned the hit single “Wonderful Life.” Their sound blends dramatic 1980s-inspired synth-pop with cinematic production and melancholic lyrics. Subsequent releases include Exile (2013), Surrender (2015), Desire (2017), and Faith (2020). The duo has collaborated with artists such as Kylie Minogue and has toured extensively across Europe.
