Kimbra

Kimbra Johnson is a New Zealand singer-songwriter raised in Hamilton and based in Los Angeles. She first gained international attention with her 2011 debut album Vows and the global hit “Somebody That I Used to Know” alongside Gotye. Her music blends art-pop, indie, soul, and electronic elements with intricate vocal arrangements and rhythmic experimentation. Subsequent releases include The Golden Echo (2014), Primal Heart (2018), and A Reckoning (2023). She has collaborated with artists such as Foster the People, Janelle Monáe, and Miike Snow, and maintains an active touring and recording career.
