Dave, born David Orobosa Omoregie in 1998 in Brixton, London, is a British rapper, singer and songwriter. He first gained attention with the 2016 single "Thiago Silva" alongside AJ Tracey and broke through with his 2017 mixtape Six Paths. His 2019 debut album Psychodrama topped the UK charts and won the Mercury Prize. Known for introspective lyricism addressing race, mental health and social issues, Dave blends grime, UK drill and conscious hip-hop. He has collaborated with Stormzy, J Hus and Burna Boy, and his 2021 album We’re All Alone in This Together also reached number one.
