Eagles

Eagles are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1971 by Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner. They rose to fame with a fusion of rock, country, and folk influences, becoming one of the best-selling acts of the 1970s. Signature albums include Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) and Hotel California, with the title track becoming a defining classic. The band experienced multiple lineup changes, including the addition of Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, and reunited in the 1990s for the Hell Freezes Over tour. Their sound blends country rock, soft rock, and yacht rock with intricate harmonies and storytelling lyrics. Eagles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 and continue to tour with surviving members Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit.
