Ratatat

Ratatat is an American electronic rock duo formed in Brooklyn, New York, consisting of guitarist Mike Stroud and producer Evan Mast. They emerged in the mid-2000s with a signature instrumental sound blending rock guitar riffs, electronic beats, and hip-hop influences. Their self-titled debut album in 2004 established their reputation for sample-free, guitar-driven electronic music. Subsequent releases like "Classics" (2006) and "LP3" (2008) expanded their reach, with tracks frequently licensed for commercials, films, and video games. They have collaborated with artists including Kid Cudi, Yeasayer, and Das Racist. The duo has maintained an independent approach, releasing music on their own label while touring extensively across North America and Europe.
