Mudvayne

Mudvayne is an American heavy metal band formed in 1996 in Peoria, Illinois. The group rose to prominence in the early 2000s nu-metal and alternative metal scenes with their technical playing and theatrical image. Their breakthrough album L.D. 50 (2000) featured the hit single "Dig" and showcased complex rhythms and downtuned guitars. Subsequent releases including The End of All Things to Come (2002) and Lost and Found (2005) expanded their sound while maintaining heavy, groove-oriented metal. The band went on hiatus after 2009 before reuniting in 2021 for festival appearances and new material. Core members include vocalist Chad Gray, guitarist Greg Tribbett, bassist Ryan Martinie, and drummer Matthew McDonough.
