Halestorm

Halestorm is an American hard rock band formed in 1997 in York, Pennsylvania by siblings Lzzy and Arejay Hale. Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale, the group built a following through relentless touring and released their self-titled debut album in 2009 on Atlantic Records. Their sound blends hard rock, heavy metal, and post-grunge with strong melodic hooks and powerful vocals. The band achieved mainstream success with the 2012 album The Strange Case Of... and its hit single “Love Bites (So Do I),” which earned them a Grammy for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance. Subsequent releases Welcome to the Circus (2022) and the live album Back from the Dead (2023) continued their chart presence. Halestorm has collaborated with artists such as Slash and Shinedown and remains known for high-energy live shows.
