DJ Nelson

Nelson Díaz Martínez, known professionally as DJ Nelson or NelFlow, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton producer and DJ from Carolina. He rose to prominence in the late 1990s as a key figure in the early reggaeton scene, producing hits for artists including Daddy Yankee and contributing to the genre’s mainstream breakthrough. Nelson founded the influential Flow Music label and released the seminal mixtape series “The Flow.” His production style blends dembow, dancehall, and hip-hop rhythms with Puerto Rican street sounds. He has collaborated with Tego Calderón, Wisin & Yandel, and Ivy Queen, and continues to release music and mentor new talent from the island.
