Timbaland

Timothy Zachery Mosley, known professionally as Timbaland, is an American record producer, songwriter, and rapper from Norfolk, Virginia. He rose to prominence in the mid-1990s producing for artists including Aaliyah, Missy Elliott, and Ginuwine. Timbaland became one of the most influential producers of the 2000s, shaping the sound of pop, hip hop, and R&B with his signature stuttering beats and futuristic production style. He has produced numerous chart-topping singles for Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Madonna, and Jay-Z. Timbaland founded the Beat Club and Mosley Music Group labels and has released several solo albums including Shock Value. He continues to work as a producer and has expanded into podcasting and artist development.
