Popcaan is a Jamaican dancehall and reggae artist from St. Thomas, Jamaica. He rose to prominence in the early 2010s after being mentored by Vybz Kartel and releasing the breakout single "Party Shot." Known for his melodic vocal style and energetic delivery, he has collaborated with international artists including Drake, Jamie xx, and Gorillaz. His debut album "Where We Come From" (2014) and follow-up "Forever" (2018) established him as a leading voice in modern dancehall. Popcaan has released music through Mixpak Records and his own Unruly Entertainment imprint.
