Wiley

Richard Cowie, known professionally as Wiley, is a pioneering UK grime and hip hop artist from Bow, East London. Emerging in the early 2000s, he helped shape the grime scene through his role in the Roll Deep crew and his influential Eskibeat productions. Wiley released the landmark album Treddin' on Thin Ice in 2004 and achieved mainstream success with the UK number-one single "Wearing My Rolex" in 2008. He is credited with discovering and mentoring artists such as Dizzee Rascal and has released over 200 mixtapes under aliases including Eskiboy and Wiley Kat. His sound blends rapid-fire grime rhythms with UK garage, hip hop, and dance elements.
