Kali Uchis

Kali Uchis is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born in Alexandria, Virginia, to Colombian parents. She began releasing music independently in the early 2010s and gained wider attention with her 2015 mixtape Por Vida. Her debut studio album Isolation (2018) earned critical acclaim for its blend of R&B, soul, funk, and Latin influences. Subsequent releases Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) (2020) and Red Moon in Venus (2023) further established her as a distinctive voice in contemporary pop and R&B. She has collaborated with artists including Tyler, the Creator, Gorillaz, and Daniel Caesar. Uchis is known for her retro-inspired aesthetic and bilingual songwriting in English and Spanish.
