Kyla

Kyla is a Filipino R&B and soul singer from Quezon City who rose to prominence in the early 2000s. She released her debut album “Kyla” in 2000 and became known for her emotive ballads and smooth vocal style. Her breakthrough came with the 2002 hit “Hanggang Ngayon,” which topped Philippine charts and earned multiple awards. Subsequent albums such as “Not Your Ordinary Girl” and “Heartfelt” showcased her blend of contemporary R&B, pop, and adult contemporary. She has collaborated with international artists including Brian McKnight and Jay R, and remains one of the Philippines’ most awarded female vocalists.
