Antonio Herrera Pérez, known professionally as Junior H, is a Mexican singer and songwriter from Michoacán. He rose to prominence in the regional Mexican scene with his 2019 debut album Atrapado en un Sueño and quickly became a leading figure in the corridos tumbados movement. His raw, introspective lyrics and fusion of traditional sierreño instrumentation with trap and hip-hop beats helped define the sad sierreño and corridos bélicos subgenres. Junior H has collaborated with artists such as Natanael Cano, Peso Pluma, and Ovi, and his singles “Mente Positiva” and “Fin de Semana” have amassed hundreds of millions of streams. He is signed to Rancho Humilde and continues to release music that blends personal storytelling with contemporary Mexican urban sounds.
