Aventura

Aventura is a Dominican-American bachata group formed in the Bronx, New York, in the mid-1990s. Led by Anthony "Romeo" Santos, the quartet popularized modern bachata worldwide with their fusion of traditional Dominican rhythms, R&B, hip-hop, and pop. Their breakthrough album "We Broke the Rules" (2002) and the hit single "Obsesión" propelled them to international fame. Subsequent releases like "God's Project" and "The Last" solidified their status as bachata innovators. After disbanding in 2011, members pursued solo careers, with Romeo Santos achieving major success as a solo artist. The group reunited for select performances and remains one of the most influential Latin acts of their generation.
