About
Studio Killers is a Danish-Finnish-British virtual electropop group formed in 2011. The project features animated characters Cherry, Goldie Foxx, and Dyna Mink, with songwriting and production led by Danish musician Helena Mäntyniemi (aka Chubby Cherry) alongside Finnish producer James Flannigan and British songwriter Rob Davis. Their debut single "Ode to the Bouncer" reached the UK top 10 in 2011. The group released their self-titled debut album in 2013 and returned in 2021 with the album "Ruby Blue," featuring the viral hit "Jenny." Their sound blends nu-disco, electropop, and stutter house with witty, queer-positive lyrics.
