Papa Roach

Papa Roach is an American rock band formed in Vacaville, California in 1993. The group rose to prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s with their nu metal and rap rock sound, fronted by vocalist Jacoby Shaddix. Their breakthrough album Infest (2000) featured the hit single “Last Resort,” which helped establish them as a major act in the post-grunge and alternative metal scenes. Subsequent releases such as Lovehatetragedy, Getting Away with Murder, and The Paramour Sessions showcased an evolving mix of hard rock, alternative metal, and occasional hip-hop elements. The band has maintained a consistent touring presence and released over a dozen studio albums, with recent work leaning toward modern rock and melodic hard rock. Papa Roach continues to be active with new music and live performances.
