Fujii Kaze is a Japanese singer-songwriter and pianist from Okayama Prefecture. He began uploading covers to YouTube as a teenager and gained attention for his soulful vocals and piano skills. His 2020 debut album Help Ever Hurt Never and follow-up Love All Serve All showcased a blend of J-pop, soul, R&B and jazz. Major singles such as “Shinunoga E-Wa” and “Matsuri” propelled him to mainstream success in Japan. He has collaborated with artists including Awich and has performed at major festivals and on NHK’s Year-End Special. Fujii writes, composes and produces most of his material, drawing from classic soul influences while maintaining a modern pop sensibility.
