The Temper Trap is an Australian indie rock band formed in Melbourne in 2005. Fronted by Dougy Mandagi, the group rose to international prominence with their 2008 debut album Conditions and the hit single "Sweet Disposition." Their sound blends atmospheric indie rock, post-punk revival, and electronic textures. Follow-up album The Temper Trap (2012) and subsequent releases maintained their reputation for emotive songwriting and dynamic live performances. The band has toured extensively and collaborated with producers such as Tony Hoffer.
