Shawn Mendes

Shawn Mendes is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Pickering, Ontario. He rose to fame in 2013 after posting cover songs on Vine and quickly signed with Island Records. His debut EP Handwritten (2014) topped the Billboard 200, and singles such as “Stitches,” “Treat You Better,” and “Mercy” established him as a global pop star. Mendes has released four studio albums—Handwritten, Illuminate, Shawn Mendes, and Wonder—collaborating with artists including Camila Cabello, Khalid, and Ed Sheeran.
