Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey is an American singer-songwriter born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant in New York in 1985. She rose to prominence in 2011 with the viral single Video Games and the album Born to Die, which blended cinematic orchestration with hip-hop and trip-hop influences. Her work explores themes of Americana, glamour, melancholy, and nostalgia, often drawing from 1950s and 1960s pop culture.
