Journey

Journey is an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1973. Originally a jazz fusion project led by ex-Santana members Neal Schon and Gregg Rolie, the group shifted toward arena rock after Steve Perry joined as lead vocalist in 1977. Their 1981 album Escape produced the enduring hits "Don't Stop Believin'", "Open Arms", and "Who's Crying Now". Subsequent releases Frontiers and Raised on Radio kept them at the top of the charts through the 1980s. After a long hiatus, the band reunited with Perry for the 1996 album Trial by Fire and later continued with new singers Steve Augeri and Arnel Pineda. Journey was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
