Jelly Roll

Jelly Roll is a Nashville-based rapper and singer-songwriter from Antioch, Tennessee. He began releasing mixtapes in the mid-2000s and built a following in the underground hip-hop scene before transitioning to a country-rap hybrid sound. His breakthrough came with the 2020 album A Beautiful Disaster and the 2023 major-label release Whitsitt Chapel, which debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. Known for raw, confessional songwriting about addiction, incarceration, and redemption, he has collaborated with artists including Yelawolf, Struggle Jennings, and Ernest. Jelly Roll has earned multiple Grammy nominations and has become one of the most prominent crossover acts blending hip-hop and country.
