Simply Red

Simply Red is an English soul and pop band formed in Manchester in 1985 by singer-songwriter Mick Hucknall. The group rose to prominence in the late 1980s with hits such as "Holding Back the Years" and "If You Don't Know Me by Now," blending soul, pop, and jazz influences. Their 1991 album Stars became one of the best-selling albums in UK history. Over four decades the band has released multiple platinum records and toured extensively worldwide.
