Diplo

Thomas Wesley Pentz, known professionally as Diplo, is an American DJ, record producer, and songwriter from Philadelphia. He rose to prominence in the late 2000s through his work in electronic music and collaborations with artists such as M.I.A. and Major Lazer. Diplo is recognized for pioneering the moombahton genre and for his production on tracks like "Lean On" and "Where Are Ü Now." He has founded record labels Mad Decent and Higher Ground, and has worked across genres including dancehall, trap, and house. Diplo has received multiple Grammy Awards and continues to release music as a solo artist and through various collaborative projects.
