Steve Aoki is an American DJ, record producer and founder of Dim Mak Records, born in Miami and raised in Newport Beach, California. He rose to prominence in the late 2000s with high-energy electro house and EDM productions, releasing albums such as Wonderland (2012) and Neon Future (2014–2015). Aoki is known for his dynamic live shows, collaborations with artists including Linkin Park, BTS, and will.i.am, and his signature cake-throwing stage antics. He has earned multiple Grammy nominations and founded the Steve Aoki Charitable Fund supporting brain research and global humanitarian causes.
