About
En Vogue is an American R&B and pop vocal group formed in Oakland, California in 1989. The original lineup of Cindy Herron, Maxine Jones, Dawn Robinson and Terry Ellis signed with Atlantic Records and released their debut album Born to Sing in 1990. Their 1992 follow-up Funky Divas produced the hits "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)", "Free Your Mind" and "Giving Him Something He Can Feel". The group has earned multiple Grammy nominations, two MTV Video Music Awards and sold over 20 million records worldwide. After several lineup changes, the current members are Herron, Jones and Ellis. Their sound blends classic soul, new jack swing and contemporary R&B.
