Chief Keef
About
Chief Keef is a Chicago drill rapper and producer from the South Side who rose to prominence in 2012 with the viral single “I Don’t Like.” His debut mixtape Back from the Dead and 2013 album Finally Rich established the raw, auto-tuned sound and street-centric themes that defined early drill. He founded the Glory Boyz Entertainment label and mentored younger artists such as Lil Reese and Lil Durk. Subsequent projects like Bang 3 and the Almighty So series expanded his influence while he navigated legal issues and label shifts. His production style and slang have been widely adopted across hip-hop and helped export Chicago drill globally.
