Sub Focus

Nick Douwma, known professionally as Sub Focus, is a British drum and bass producer and DJ from Guildford, England. He began releasing music in the mid-2000s and rose to prominence with singles such as "Timewarp" and "Rock It." His 2009 debut album Sub Focus established him as a leading figure in the liquid funk and drum and bass scenes. Subsequent releases including the 2013 album Torus and 2023's Evolve expanded his sound into broader electronic territories while retaining his signature bass-driven production. He has collaborated with artists such as Example, Alex Clare, and Dimension, and runs his own label, Sub Focus Records.
