Juanes

Juanes is a Colombian singer-songwriter and guitarist from Medellín. He rose to prominence in the 1990s as the frontman of the rock band Ekhymosis before launching a solo career in 2000. His breakthrough album Fíjate Bien earned a Latin Grammy, and subsequent releases like Un Día Normal and Mi Sangre produced international hits including “A Dios le Pido” and “La Camisa Negra.” Juanes blends rock en español with Latin pop, reggae, and cumbia influences, often addressing social and political themes. He has collaborated with artists such as Nelly Furtado and has won over twenty Latin Grammy Awards.
